Overview: This collection of folktales and lore from dozens of participating countries in Expo 2020 Dubai embodies the event’s core themes: opportunity, sustainability and mobility. Brought together in a five-volume set in both English and Arabic, each story is accompanied by vivid imagery and illustrations produced by local artists from the country.
Project breakdown: Medina Content & Design Group the full production of Children’s Tales, which comprised five books in both English and Arabic. This included the creation of a bespoke design concept for each set as well as the translation and transliteration of words and phrases from various foreign languages into English and Arabic. Books were used in launch events to promote reading among children and were distributed in schools and places of learning throughout the UAE.
