Overview: World Expos are one of the oldest and largest global events, taking place every five years. From October 2021 to March 2022, Expo 2020 Dubai welcomed over 24 million visitors to the first World Expo in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia (MEASA) region and the first to be hosted by an Arab nation. Over six months, 192 participating countries exchanged new ideas and perspectives under Expo 2020’s theme Connecting Minds, Creating the Future.
Project breakdown: Medina Content & Design Group managed the full production and content services for the Official Visitor Map, including the printing of 2,000,000 maps in English and Arabic language. Maps were available for visitor to pick-up from information kiosks, and via 30 robot concierges powered by artificial intelligence who traversed the site offering maps to visitors.
